Head Prefect
Being a girl of the white blue is something to be exceptionally proud of. Napier Girls' High School is unique, and its traditions are an important part of our school. Founders' Day, Gift Service and weekly singing practices bring us together as a school. These help each girl understand a feeling of belonging to the school's culture and traditions. The atmosphere during these events is remarkable, and I will most definitely miss this when I leave.
While we bring with us the best from the past with our traditions, we continue to move firmly forwards. This is demonstrated by the numerous opportunities presented to all girls, which help develop character and commitment, while forging friendships. Napier Girls' High School not only educates, but provides a firm foundation for all round success in life.
The 2010 prefect group is made up of fantastic girls who will do the school proud. I hope we can help all students feel valued and included in the school and its traditions. Head Prefect is a unique opportunity, one which will allow me to hopefully inspire and encourage others to get involved in school life. In this way, they will develop the love of Napier Girls' High School that I have, and cherish every moment they spend at school. This is a most exciting prospect, and I look forward to the challenges, opportunities and fun it will bring to my final year.
