Junior School Curriculum

 

Year 9 Curriculum

Year 9 will study the following each week:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Physical Education
  • Music
  • Module 1
  • Module 2

Modules

Year 9 students will study different modules each term from the list below:

  • Art/Technology-Textiles
  • Drama/Music
  • Economics/Technology-Food
  • Graphics/Technology-Materials
  • Health/Inspiration
  • ICT
  • French or Japanese
  • Maori or Spanish

Towards the end of the year, students choose two of the modules to continue as permanent subjects for all of Year 10

 

Year 10 Curriculum

All students study English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education/Health, Music. The two modules chosen at the end of Year 9 are studies in Year 10
