Calling all Coaches!!

Napier Girls’ High School is well-known for its traditional values, high standards and excellence in achievement. It is a school that offers many opportunities for its students, including a wide range of sporting options.

Sport is growing fast at Napier Girls, with numbers of teams increasing and girls participating and achieving across the year in many different codes. To support our players’ ongoing development we are looking for members of the community who would be willing to volunteer their time and expertise to coaching a team in 2018. We have 28 different sports codes and a range of different levels of teams requiring coaches.

You would ideally have some experience in coaching a sport, be keen to help develop the sporting skills of our players, and willing to commit time for trainings and games across the season. You would also be able to pass a police clearance. Our coaches are all volunteers, and are greatly appreciated by our school and the wider community. If you think that you might have these qualities we would love to hear from you.

To apply for a role as a Volunteer Coach at NGHS, please contact Jo Owen at [email protected] giving details of the sport you would be keen to coach, and any experience you have had in this role.
