Caring for Our Students

Senior Leaders, Deans and Teachers keep an eye on every student, tracking their progress in consultation with family. The guidance network helps every student to feel they're a valued member of the school community and they are developing self-esteem and relating well to others.

  • Senior Leaders take a close interest in all students and are available to any student when required.
  • Deans oversee the progress of all students in a year group. Parents and students consult with the dean about subject choices, behaviour, classroom and health issues.
  • The Vertical Form Teacher is responsible for all students in their form class. The Form Teacher encourages form members to become fully involved in school life, both academically and in extracurricular activities, as well as keeping an eye on their well-being, ensuring the holistic development of all students.
  • The School Counsellors assist students with personal, educational or vocational concerns.
  • The Future Focus Team provides information and advice to students about their future plans. This includes tertiary and vocational training, job requirements and course selection.
  • The Learning Team identifies and provides learning programmes and strategies to assist all students to reach their potential.
  • The Well-being Team assists our students to feel good about life and to function as well as possible.
