Te Kura Kōhine o Ahuriri - Napier Girls’ High School sits upon Mataruahou, overlooking Ahuriri, Napier, and provides education for students in Years 9-13. Our kura is one of the oldest in Aotearoa for kōhine, young women. Our values of Manaakitanga, Kairangi Whaiaro and Whanaungatanga underpin our kaupapa of empowering ākonga to achieve success and fulfilment for themselves, whānau and the wider community.

Mō te tūranga - About the role

Napier Girls’ High School is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable teacher to join our Social Sciences Learning Area.

Our ideal candidate will be able to teach junior social science and Commerce/Accounting/Business to senior level. This role is suitable for a beginning or experienced teacher and is a full-time, permanent position beginning in January of 2026.
