At Napier Girls' High School we have a long and proud tradition of excellence in sport.

Despite the recent challenges, in 2022 we had many Napier Girls' High School students selected to represent various regional teams, and 18 who were selected into national squads or achieved nationally.

Parris Petera and Ashleigh Poi have been selected into the Mainland Beko league squad for 2021 - Good Luck in the South Island girls!!

While our girls are the stars of their sporting universe, behind them we have a committed group of coaches, sports managers, staff and parents who work to ensure that players have the opportunity to achieve to their potential. With long-term development being our aim, we offer a range of skill-based teams with various school exchanges and tournament opportunities for our premier teams to gain important exposure to national level competition.
