Teacher of Biology and Science

About the role:
Napier Girls’ High School is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic teacher to join our Science Learning Area. This role is suitable for an experienced teacher. Our ideal candidate will have the ability to teach Biology to level 3 and scholarship level, and General Science levels 1 through 3. For the right candidate, there may be an oppportunity to take on additional management responsibilities within the department. This is a full-time, permanent position beginning in January of 2025.

Napier Girls’ High School is located in Ahuriri, Napier, and provides education for students in Years 9-13. The School is one of the oldest in New Zealand for girls. It celebrates its traditions, and its values of Manaakitanga (respect and caring), Kairangi Whaiaro (personal excellence) and Whānaungatanga (relationships and connections), which underpin the kaupapa of empowering ākonga to achieve success and fulfilment for themselves, whānau and the wider community.

Napier Girls’ High School is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic teacher to join our Mathematics Learning Area. This role is suitable for a beginning or experienced teacher. Our ideal candidate will be able to teach through to senior level mathematics and statistics. This is a full-time, permanent position beginning in January of 2025.
